People’s Emergency Center
Simple. Thats what People’s Emergency Center wanted. A simple way to explain both the problem of homelessness in its community, and the organizations methods for addressing it. Our solution was the following infographic.
FSG – Emergent Strategy
Strategic philanthropy needs to evolve to meet the complex challenges our world now faces. FSG has been working hard to understand how foundations can shift their focus from individual organizational efforts to co-creating systems, influencing the key levers that move a system towards or away from a given goal. In the cover story of the latest Stanford Social Innovation Review, the authors from FSG articulate this new approach, which advocates moving from a pre-planned approach resembling a map, to a more agile compass. To help explain these concepts we created the following motiongraphic video.
MCE Social Capital
MCE Social Capital makes loans to organizations helping people living in poverty. By getting innovative people and institutions to guarantee loans from institutional investors, MCE generates loans for MFIs that serve a high percentage of women, operate in rural communities, and offer health, education, or business training programs.

Ad Council “Know Your Zone” Motiongraphic
As we saw with Sandy, Hurricanes can be devastating when they land in New York City. Areas near water are particularly vulnerable, so the New York Office of Emergency Management (NY OEM) has created hurricane evacuation zones to make sure the most risky areas are cleared out in the event of a dangerous storm. To spread awareness of these new zones, and to make sure New Yorkers have a proper emergency plan, we worked with the Ad Council and NY OEM to create a motiongraphic video and companion instagram piece.
Dientes came to us looking for a fun way to talk about the importance of dentistry. We built this motiongraphic around the theme of the importance of a smile, talking about important situations that we all encounter in our professional and personal lives – and helping viewers imagine what those situations would be like if we had a broken smile.
PSI 2013 Progress Report
PSI is one of the world’s largest NGOs, working on issues of health care in the developing world. We worked with them to create a 2013 progress report, highlighting the accomplishments of the previous year. We combined infographic elements with photography from the field and in-depth written content to produce a report that is engaging and informative. Of the many staggering statistics in the report, the number most illustrative of PSI’s activity in 2012 is the addition of 35.2 million years of healthy life.
Full Circle Fund
Full Circle Fund brings together talented professionals to identify and help grow innovations in the field of philanthropy. For the third year in a row we branded and designed the materials for their annual fundraising gala, Ignite. This event raises funds and brings in a new batch of professionals looking to use their talents for the greater good.
Food Lifeline provides 82,000 meals a day to local food assistance programs and works to shape policies that seek a sustainable approach to hunger. We created an infographic highlighting the more than 300,000 missing meals that occur from gaps in food assistance programs, primarily for the working poor. FLL will use this infographic to gather resources and shape policies that seek to ameliorate this widespread problem.
The Packard Foundation funds a number of organizations that are working to preserve island ecosystems – where 43% of the Earth’s endangered animals live. This infographic shows how the removal of invasive species can bring balance back to threatened ecosystems.
Stone Soup organizes professional talent to produce pro-bono films to help non-profits communicate more effectively. We worked with them to create a new website that showcases their films, while encouraging skilled volunteers to lend their services to these important projects.

Feronia Forests acquires and sustainably manages natural forest properties in the United States. They approach conservation in an innovative way, looking for sustainable ways to produce economic value as opposed to relying only on widespread clear cutting. We worked with Feronia to create an infographic that allows them to discuss some of their innovative approaches with future investors.
FSG: The International NGO of the Future
FSG partners with foundations, nonprofits, corporations and governments to find effective solutions to the world’s most pressing social problems. In order to influence leaders in the international NGO community to think proactively about the future, Elefint worked with FSG to develop an interactive one-page website and a corresponding print report that tell the story of how NGOs will need to adapt to succeed in the future.

SOCAP is one of the leading conferences connecting social entrepreneurs and impact investors. We teamed up with SOCAP for their 13th conference, to create a conference logo, theme icons, facebook slider images, a program book, and infographics. Make sure to look for us in the exhibitor area to play in the Elefint Sandbox!
Official Website of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is a humanitarian and spiritual leader spearheading so many causes and initiatives that it’s an incredible challenge just to keep track of it all. We worked with his office to organize his initiatives into key categories, and to build a new website that would effectively communicate all this important activity.

The Packard Foundation needed an elegant and concise way to communicate a summary of its 2012 activities, including its focus areas and details of its investments. We worked with them to create this multipage 2012 at-a-glance print report.
Can annual reports be fun? Every year Volunteer Match comes up with a new way to present their data for the last year in a way that is fun and engaging. We had a great time creating this 3-D art infographic for them. With so many things to communicate in such a small space, we used visual metaphors (sea, air, land, signs) to separate the data and create a rich but digestible picture.
Foundation Center / BMAfunders
We worked closely with the Foundation Center to produce a highly visual and data-driven report surrounding black male achievement. Nearly every major indicator of economic, social and physical well-being shows that African American men and boys in the U.S. do not have access to opportunities and support needed to thrive. This multi-page report is part of an on-going effort to raise awareness about the needs and issues surrounding this demographic.
Public Health Institute
Did you know that 67% of our workforce is overweight or obese? Obesity and other health risks are a large financial strain on businesses across the U.S. We worked with Public Heath Institute (PHI) to raise awareness of these facts, while also presenting simple preventative care options in the workplace and community. It’s interesting stuff. Take a look!
National Council of Nonprofits
National Council of Nonprofits helps organizations across the country navigate important issues facing the social sector. We created a new brand identity and supporting collateral including business cards, letterhead and templates for their newsletters and multi-page reports.
Best Friends Animal Society
Best Friends Animal Society has a strong no-kill mission, working to make animal executions a thing of the past. They needed a multi-page interactive infographic on their website to illustrate details about the problem of animal executions and what they are doing in coordination with their partners to address the issue.

Who’s Responsible for the U.S. Debt Ceiling?
A few summers ago there was an abundance of talk about the debt ceiling, so we wanted to take a look at how we got here. While political parties play the blame game, the facts paint a more complicated picture. They data shows that both parties have presided over huge increases and decreases in our national debt, and that events like World War 2 and periods of recession have often been far more important than party ideology.
