The world has gone digital.
Has your annual report?
Annual reports are one of the most common materials produced by nonprofits each year. Despite advances in digital storytelling, many are still producing lengthy print reports without a clear understanding of their value.
In our research, we found that many organizations had only anecdotal means of evaluating the success of these reports (if any). Many even told us they assumed the reports were read by a very small group of people.
A number of nonprofits are creating digital annual reports to supplement or replace their print reports. Some obvious advantages are the use of new tools such as video or interactive data visualization, and the capability to track visitors to have a measurable way of evaluating viewership.
Elefint Designs has created a flexible digital annual report that can be re-purposed for a number of years, and can grow within years as stories, facts, and metrics change.
